I've been looking for a Bleach fanfic, and decided to give this a shot. Overall, it started off pretty good, but it gets more and more disappointing the more I read.
The story takes place around 200 (?) years before the main storyline of Bleach takes place. So he mostly interacts with the characters from that time period, such as the Vaizard group and one of the Zero Squad characters. The MC is isekai'd from our world into the world of Bleach, and there isn't any cheat item to let him power progress. But that being said, since he has around 100-200 years to train, this doesn't end up being that much of an issue. The power progression is still fast and not that painfully slow.
That being said, the reason for the low score is because I feel like the MC is a little bit too passive, and not proactive enough. This could be because the author is afraid to deviate from the main plot of the story. Even though the main character watched the Bleach anime and has knowledge of events, he will pretend not to know anything and let things play out (sometimes to his detriment). This ends up being pretty frustrating.
Spoiler
Long story short, the main character had about 200 years to prepare for Aizen, and he ends up being too passive and just let things play out almost exactly the same like the anime did, with some very minor changes. This was honestly incredibly disappointing and made me drop the fanfic right there. I understand that maybe killing Aizen too fast might not let you continue writing an interesting story. But at the same time, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense for the MC to be this passive, especially considering his current power level at the time. The reason why we read fanfiction in my opinion is because we want to see some new interesting takes on the story, instead of just the same thing over again with some slight changes. After skimming through some of the later machine translations of future chapters, my opinion is that it doesn't really change significantly enough for me to bother, so I'll be dropping this here.
