Started off interesting, then the author lost the plot and it became a less than stellar city building novel. It might return to being interesting later, but as of right now it's no longer worth continuing.It's also super irritating how the MC just lets himself be pushed around by everyone. It was at least palatable early on but later just becomes disgusting. I honestly find myself wondering if Japanese people are actually like this with the amount of novels that feature characters with no f***ing spine.
