So far, I really enjoy the novel. 5/5 so far!For once, despite a more male-oriented story, MC is beyond loyal to FML. The parts where he talks about his feeling and how she really anchors his life in comparison to the previous life really shook me.There is something so vulnerable about our MC when in your typical novel, MC is all macho badass with no emotion. Nope, our MC shows plenty of insecurities because of his past memory and who the FML is: Someone he himself is mot worthy.Our FML *was* cute xD But at a certain point, it is clear MC is her heart, her air and the sole reason to live. Sure, that sounds like typical Yandere behaviour but aforementioned, how MC is the same for her, it balance out.Another thing I REALLY appreciate is MC willpower: He knows he's *technically* a 500yrs old dude and in this current life, despite both are in a consensual relationship, he put a clear boundary for both so Xuan'er has time to change her mind (Althou that backfire ALOT xD) Some of the teasing parts are ridiculously hot for me. Like it's teasing and edging you, borderline smut but BECAUSE it is not smut, you feel frustrated in a good way (and because of the said in-canon boundary).One tiny point I can criticise is probably the translator use MTL so some of the pronouns got mix up? However, they clearly put in a lot of edit so my reading flow was uninterrupted. My head just auto correct the pronouns.
