There was this OC girl he met at the start. The potential was great but author just threw her away, married to some dude I didn't even bother remember his name.

The only thing missing is placard on his neck saying that he's a marine. Well, nobody gives a sh*t anyway, he completed the mission after annihilating the pirate crew.
