I want to keep it short and not write war and peace. (Hope I can across clear.)
Obviously, Haruka has some real deep psychological issues that really cause her to fly off the handle on occasion, as seen across the volumes, but volume 4 really cranks up the instability to 10 and turns here into a manic-depressive-maybe-bipolar individual. The relationship of Shigure and Hiromichi moved along by the end of the third vol and it continues along until a not-well individual comes creeping along. Haruka's suspicions lead to her eventual discovery of her sister's betrayal. Fast forwarding to the ends of the vol, there is a back and forth between all parties and this leads to a meeting where MC and H seemingly moving on from each other, only for Haruka to get into a traffic "accident" soon after. MC feels it was brought on by him. The tremendous guilt follows him, this leads to the ending where he continues to date Haruka and eventually makes a family (with a kid and everything) with her after college. (She also conveniently suppressed or lost her memory; the MC does not know which is which.) BUT, he continues to have a relationship with Shigure but only in secret. So let me get this straight, he is somewhat miserable, not feeling the same love he feels when he is with Shigure (as he states in their secret rendezvous in the end of vol) but cannot really leave Haruka because she might go insane, and he also has a kid. I guess us Shigure fans should rejoice? She won! Yay! I did not like where any of this went, like at all. (If you snooped around and found the images, the last image and scene in the vol is of Shigure (with the ring the MC gave her) and MC (now the tired, family guy with Haruka) sharing a moment together alone in secret in their love nest.) Anyways, I stayed for Shigure and the goat character designs and art. It was too bad the conclusion was not to my liking. *Originally was a 2 star, I though that was a bit harsh. For all the insanity and the ending that I did not like, it was enjoyable in a "what the hell is gonna happen next" sense.
