This is a refreshing take from the original work wherein Leon is paired with Marie as opposed to the harem route. I agree with the other reviews and praises for this story as it actually fleshes out both MC and Marie as characters, as opposed to the original story where MC is quickly turned into a harem protag cutout after the first arc and Marie being bullied cutie trope. In this story we find out more about Marie's backstory and how both Leon and Marie actually meshes well for each other (this is a new world so past relationships don't count lol). It may also sound that I'm tr*shing the original source but it pays to read the original before reading this so that the reader will appreciate this alternative story more.Also I'm glad we're done away with the main cast from the original story because personally, they're pretty boring all around. Leon, Marie and Luxion are pretty much the only interesting characters to begin with, in my honest opinion. Give it a read and support the TLer for doing a good (MTL) job at it.
