If there is one thing to note about this spin-off, it's way better than the original. The OG heads into a stereotypical harem by volume 4 and that is rarely a good thing. The character in the OG would become so shallow and the plot seemed over-extended to milk the story for more content it didn't have. This one greatly fleshes out the Main characters Leon and Marie far more than the original. It is understandable if one has not read the original that this spin-off might be confusing but as a spin-off, it does its job well. Leon and Marie end up doing their side mission which doesn't make the story feel like a retelling of the original and both characters are just overall more fun to read about. This has earned a 5-star, the only thing that could be nitpicked on is that the illustrations aren't exactly high quality but that hardly a reason to read the story.
