The three stars are for the first few chapters where the MC was actually cool and the face-slapping was satisfying. And after that?Hello, what happened to being deceived by the family, being wrongly incarcerated in a prison, died and then reborn? I didn't see any edgy maturity point of the MC leveling up sooner after the second try despite the 'despair' he tried to sell to the readers. I blame the g*ooming and 'brotherly love' for the lack of his development.Also, I don't like that even though the novel is tagged as 'revenge', the majority of the karma is dealt by the ML. I'd tolerate s*upid but hard-working MC, but I can't like MCs who would just sit tight and look pretty, waiting for the ML to save them.
