Translations only go up to 60 as of this review, so I've started to MTL it. As of this point, I'm still in the 'first half' that KukiAme mentioned, where the story is a mix of comedy (arising from MC not knowing he's talking to the Empress and her retinue), uplift wank (MC's system gives him a bunch of junk but it's still all a step or two above the current era, technologically), and face slapping (of course there will be people who object to the Empress making use of the MC and decide to take things out on him).Being a light-hearted mix of the three keeps things interesting so far. The system is stronger than initially presented so the MC is acting from a position of strength most of the time, but that's fine because this is still more comedy/face slapping than thriller. Plus a dollop of scheming from multiple parties keeps things interesting.
