The ML has various personality problems due to his background, though they change depending on the world. He thinks too much into what the FL says. Like in the first arc she called him thin when she was pulling his pants down to see his birthmark and then he thought she disliked his figure. And he proceeded to have a good figure for the rest of the arc lol
FL on the other hand is oblivious to the impacts of her words sometimes though, and she occasionally chooses to be blind to certain things because she doesn't want to face them. I feel like this makes her more human as she has that sort of denial, you know? Like, denial or rejection due to cognitive dissonance. She's not s*upid, she just doesn't want to think about it. I think she doesn't want to get too entangled and wants to complete the mission quickly.
These make for good angst and a lot of cuteness.
[collapse]Also, this isn't much of a spoiler because it's very obviously stated to the reader, butSpoilerthe ML is the same person in all the worlds because he's actually the author. The reader's grudges made him bound too, so that he transmigrated in various book worlds as the villain so that he can experience their pain. He was assigned a rescuer, the FL, who's mission is to make the ML happy in all the worlds. He gets his memory wiped at the end of every world before he goes into the next world though.
[collapse]If you like character development, scenes that will pull on your heartstrings, and great interactions, then this is the novel for you! It is fluffy and angsty and basically a whole roller coaster of emotion.Edit: So I've been reading this and... I feel like for me it's more of a 4 star read because although it's pretty good, it's a bit more on the lighter side? I feel. It's definitely not like, a 5 star read like perhaps "Miao Miao Miao" and "My Disciple Died Yet Again" were for me, but it's pretty good so far. Maybe it'll get deeper later on, but for now it's a 4 star. I'm keeping my rating a 5 star though because I want to balance out the multiple 1 stars, which I definitely don't feel this novel deserves.
