MTL'd to chapter 54. It's about a 3.5.The biggest flaw of this story lies in the amount of circlejerking it does. There are too many scene cuts to random audience commentators talking about how good the MC and FL look together. I thought we were done with the era of xianxia face slapping commentators.The second biggest problem is that the future of the story holds little promise. It's based on face slapping Xia Yuran repeatedly to promote the FL, but by repeatedly doing that without letting her get in any of her own victories, the story itself becomes shallow and boring. Also at a certain point it feels less like face slapping and more like bullying.The FL's reactions and her interaction with the MC are pretty cute but that alone is not enough to carry the story. The MC is OP - he's the strongest in terms of cultivation, he's got knowledge of the novel to ab*se, he's the wealthiest character, and as the Imperial Prince he's also the strongest politically. So there's no tension in the story and it's just about repeatedly setting up a training dummy to knock it down.
