Based on MTL chapters 1 ~ 50, I am rating this JP web-novel as better than average vs. The 150+ I've read. It mixes (a) slice of life tales from the father and the daughter when they are separated early on and (b) action & adventure sequences of battling magic beasts, demons, and other more human antagonists.The characters are likable and not entirely flat, the writing seems reasonably sophisticated (though my judgment is limited by MTL), and the in*est vibe is somewhat tamer than I expected (I consider that good thing). Daughter and father meet quite a crew of somewhat fleshed out characters and there's plenty of friendships, mofufu moments, and betrayals to make the plot and characters move and, depending on your POV, maybe even develop a little.
