I'm just leaving my honest thought on the novels listed by novelupdates, after browsing the yandere tag for a while I noticed that chinese novels with yuri/yaoi or reverse harem tend to get 5 star reviews by virtue rather than actual quality. Like from the synopsis, our MC is a mary sue and it's like every other typical 'villain is misunderstood (?) tsundere who actually loves ppl they wronged but cannot admit their wrongdoings for xyz reasons and every bit of their action is retroactively justified by the narrative and their cover gets blown by a love interest typically by 'accident/stalking'. I still don't get how people just enjoy the same boring formula but genderbend.
