May not be the best story out there, but it's one of those that I find myself re-reading again and again. A story where character help each other create a better future never fail to bring a smile and satisfactory.It is lighhearted but also has depth, twists, and hedonistic delights. I like that Bai Lian (mc) slowly changes from desperately trying to avoid death to geniunely caring for others character, and there is little to no angst, which you would usually find in these types of stories. The fact that she knows what she wants and goes for it, as well as being capable of analysis and scheming is a plus for me.
