Personally, I feel like this is like the girls version of the typical “OP main character wants to live a normal life but can’t stop themselves from getting involved in everyone’s trouble”.MC is interesting and drives the plot line but I can’t bring myself to like her that much. She’s not especially smart or funny, but sticks to her personal goals / morals very strictly - so whether or not you find that appealing is up to you.Nonetheless I think it’s rare to find action series like this where the MC is female, and I think it still has an interesting line of development and good world building. The character cast comes together very cohesively as you learn who people are.There’s... maybe going to be romance? I’m not sure?? I think we will get more later. I do like that this is actually more action and less romance though, it’s refreshing.Ultimately a little disappointed bc this was rated higher than other series that I like more, so I had high hopes, but it’s still worth the read and worth following. I guess MC personality just isnt my type but that’s ok bc it’s not she’s a bad MC and the rest of the story is still strong.
