Rebirth In The Novel: Indulging The Female Side Character Chapter Completed Discussion

The title is misleading there is barely any indulgence and the romance is extremely slow and short lived, not very sweet. The novel is more focused in unraveling the different mysteries and pursuing revenge. But the author made it too complicated/cumbersome for nothing. I think a lot of the story could have been shortened by removing all those side characters stories that brought nothing to the main story beside adding love stories? I skipped all of those.
