This review is mainly targeted at another review by LoneDK because it's a bit of misinformation. In his first point he said the author doesn't explain what the threats are. It's true, but that's because the author seems to follow the rule, "show don't tell". You rarely get told what the problem is and what his solutions are, instead the story unfolds so you figure it out.He said that aster is the MC and that's it. It's true that aster is the "protagonist" or "player". We won't learn much about him because the story isn't based about him, he's just a very strong side character. An extra if you'd likeWhen he says we don't know the motivation of the MC, I'll assuming he's talking about frondier. In which case we do, it's something that's stated multiple times too. His goal is to surviveNow on his second point. He says it feels the MC gets thrown around and he's just reacting. As I said before, the author is a "show don't tell" type of person. Instead of giving you a roadmap of what will happen, the MC doesn't say what will happen or what his plans are and you'll mostly see things unfold without knowing what will happen. Then he talks about a rune that's important to the MC that he didn't know it existed. To explain this, the way he got the rune was by basically say he doesn't believe in god's. This was impossible for him before because Aster, the only playable character in the game, received power from a god. It's literally an impossible Easter egg to get so idk how tf did something this simple go over his head. That rune is crucial only because of MC's talent being weaving. [Minor spoiler] The only way to get weaving is to be an otherworlder/transmigrator. How tf would he know about it when no one in the game even had it?Now I wouldn't say it's a masterpiece, without the MC's interesting power I would give this a 1 star imo. Still it's annoying to see reviews that sh*t on a novel without facts.
