The Academy’s Weapon Replicator Chapter 525 Discussion

Full review is elsewhere but heres a short gist of it-

The characters are really in-depth with the MC’s personality only getting more fleshed out as the story progresses, tho he does start off a little bit of a blank slate. The relationship between the MC and other characters is done really well (especially favorite of mine is his relationship with the... mother-in-law). Its complex and keeps changing, there’s doubt, trust, allies and sometimes people turned enemies because they have a different goal. He makes a point that almost every character has a possibility, a different timeline where they turn to evil and feels it his responsibility to keep them on his side.

The powers and action is done well, though its more about he MC figuring out a strategy rather than him always just ‘levelling up’ or getting more skilled. And more importantly its about politics/ figuring out the real enemy’s plan and trying to stop it rather than beat enemy = win. The world building is pretty good, things get more fleshed out while keeping a bit of mystery and ‘divergence’ from earth mythology. Plots and story arcs go for a really long time.

It is a great novel if you let it cook. 8 out of 10 easily.

As for the reviews that seem to miss the point, its not 'the commoners' against him its an organization that has a specific reason for it, and the girls dont blindly fall for him cause 'mysterious' he explicitly helps each of them in different ways. He doesnt ab*se game bugs cause its not really a game, he DOES go for hidden treasures but acquiring them isnt his top priority, he absolutely uses his information advantage to its fullest extent and he does make connection with powerhouses.
