Pros and cons of this story.

pros this story is unique for the abilities. An enemy that brainwashes using cards and he’s voice, an enemy who doesn’t need magic and can just possess a crow and a main character whose ability is a lot of fun. Like making weapons out of nowhere? Pretty interesting concept.

Although I do love that the main character has a some sort of mysteriousish vibe to the readers

for example during the main story around chapter 40ish to 50ish, the main character knows who the mastermind is from the game, and he gives hints and allows the other characters to come to their conclusion. This not only makes it feel like the characters have their own thought process, but also allows us readers to feel some sort of suspense. Instead of outright giving us the answer, it is more fun when we come up with our own conclusion

Cons: I would say the abilities are kind of weird for the main character. So he makes copies of the abilities. But they don’t have a physical form. But there is a “phenomenon” because it’s magical powers so it allows there to be contact for a certain while. Quite confusing but just remember later on he gets a rune that allows him to physically weave the magic so it’s all good. (You will understand once you read through chapter 30 hopefully)

When I read the arcs, it feels like it is specifically targeting a specfic fml. For example sybil, chapter 9-14ish. Ellen appears in 16-25 where the fight together and bond a bit aten (princess) arc is about 40-50.78-93 he hangs with hes bodyguard/assassin while getting an item. 90-113 is more of MC vs evil organisation.113-123 is about the senior Quine where they bond the most in the story..150-184 is about MC getting stronger. 180 onwards is second year arc.

I would like to say that in chapter 190ish when senior Quine graduates, he says that if he didn’t have to save the world, he would join her family (knight order). I don’t think there was that much contact between them for this to happen. Honestly I’ll let that slide since I’m too far in to quit.

if you made it this far. This storey is far from generic due to its unique abilities, slightly mysteriousish vibe, and fight scenes (my favourite was the rematch at chapter 147.

although far from a masterpiece it captured my attention for quite long, if you are fine with a slightly generic MC with an interesting ability, not naturally dense but dense to the female leads feelings and interesting story plots related to gods, go for this novel.
