Kinda typical trope where MC is so powerful they have to contrive plot points where he's not there so everyone they just introduced to the story can start dying so he can show up after they're dead and save the day to look more "cool". You know what's cooler than showing up after everyone else is dead or dying? Actually being there when it happens. Like for real though, bro never leaves the country, how contrived is it that when he does the country's first s rank gate opens? Moment you start writing in characters just to kill them to establish mc's prestige is the moment you should start losing readers. Plot's overly contrived, I left it at 2 star because I know there are wish fulfillment readers that eat this up.
