The premise was really interesting but as of this review, there's only one translated chapter— so I read the MTL.Overall, the story is enjoyable— MC is more of a healer/spiritualist than a necromancer despite what the synopsis says.Spoiler
He can suck energy out of people and reconstruct wounded body parts. I have yet to see any corpse-raising or communication with the dead, so I believe it may be a mistranslation.
[collapse]The pacing is good, a little faster than other novels of the same subgenre.27 chapters in, there's still no romance, so I'm thinking there probably won't be any, at least not anytime soon.SpoilerHe meets a girl in the first chapter, but she isn't really portrayed as a love interest. She joins his brother's guild after and they basically don't interact at all after that.
[collapse]MC is, true to his name, a mad dog. He kills, but never for no reason, talks and acts with the classic KR action MC nonchalance— "I don't care, I'm stronger than you anyway" (if you know, you know) ... but he isn't unfeeling; he does care a lot about his family and disciples. If you're even moderately interested, you should give it a try.
