We have no deadline for the end times, and one of this pieces most core components for tension is only dangled like a carrot. We have no clue how long into this they're going to swindle what is promised as a core component of the story. At this point action feels routine for the purpose of extending the deadline. We have some hints, because of the level cap, but they cut that by making it feel arbitrary how quickly and consistently our protagonist levels up.This one is interesting in its qualities, but it's just not respecting its reader's time as much as I'd like.We have a premise with a ticking clock, but the author has forgotten to replace the battery, because I can't hear it ticking anymore. Our story has almost everything loaded, now we need to see the premise execute. Right now it feels like everything we've put onto the table is getting cold and we'd rather order a Pizza instead of wait for the Author to show up and give us permission to eat.
