I Became the Younger Sister of the Game’s Villain Chapter 72 Discussion

I had high hopes for this one since the description sounds interesting but man was I disappointed.

Personally, I think the MC sucks, 30chp in and I'm just praying that there will be some sort of character development. I don't remember if it was mentioned how old she was before she transmigrated into the 15 y.o. sister but she basically acts and thinks like a 15 y.o. w chuunibyou syndrome. Just like an overly self-conscious teen who still doesn't know emotional processing and is hiding in denial behind a false calm. All of this leads to unnecessary suffering. Do what you can sure but it's important to have the skills to back it up! It's an annoying contrast where her constant overthinking is just making things worse and then she does things where I'd be screaming bish do you even think before you act?! She's manifesting trouble out of thin air.

Going further I now see that there are a lot of red flags in this story. The MC is an anxious hypocrite, most of everyone has the IQ of a rock, consequences either don't align or don't exist, and the thing that ticks me the most, was the way the MC is treated by others. She's the treasured younger sister of the current number one hero, imo there should be certain privileges here, on that note MC doesn't act like one either, she just stands there receiving all the negative aspects and constantly getting sprayed w dirty water. Also, look at her picture, she's beautiful, where's the pretty privilege?? She's being treated like cabbage here.

MC is using cheats from her veteran player knowledge and they're trying to portray her as this kind of genius but really she often comes up short leading to a miserable experience, if you want to do this just make her OP damnit not this half baked thing. I've read harem novels w this kind of trope that are better than this and I don't even usually like harem novels. It happened a couple of times now where MC met someone, they treat her terribly, then after a few sentences, that person would do a 180 and be saying I trust you completely. Ex; Spoiler

This grandma let's MC into her house because she looks pitiful like a drowned rat, she then give MC food and help dry her hair, MC said some facts, grandma turns full psycho and throws a vase at her, MC said she would help her daughter, grandma was like ok, MC confused and ask why she trust her, grandma then be like I trust you completely... grandma no wtf you literally just threw a vase at her a few sentences ago

For being the so-called treasured younger sister, the brother ain't treating her like it either. I came in here to see a siscon brother but nope it's like the bare minimum parent who's constantly swamped w work. Most of the side characters piss me off so much I just want to smack them around w a frying pan. The MC is in a constant state of being screwed over. I'm not saying that it's unreadable but I'm about a quarter way through and I just can't anymore, my blood pressure keeps rising. I skipped to the final fight/ending/extras and it was an eh at best.
