It's a typical brainless face slap novel, only that the punchlines aren't very face slap worthy. I always say, to write a smart character with eloquent tongue, the author him/herself needs to be smart and eloquent, or else that character will often end up feeling fake.The MC is pretty much perfect, most beautiful, most intelligent, best tea maker in the world somehow, can read and remember everything at a glance, can carry stack of books so heavy that even men couldn't carry down the stairs in high heels easily, most awesome, most pretty much everything. In other words, she is very very bland.I stopped reading several times to scroll through facebook because of how boring it was. I usually enjoy OP characters, but this one is just not my taste. Maybe I would've enjoyed it more 6-7 years ago when I first started reading chinese novels, now I'm just looking for something with more depth.
