To be honest, the first arc was shit.

however, things get better!! Judging from the author's other works too, it seems that her quick transmission stories start off slow before taking off into the sky, which is good too because at least most of the story is good (as in not cliche). The novel explores tons of identities and time periods, the only one it didn't was the FUTURE. Like geeeeez why does no author every do futuristic quick transmissions :<
