I honestly don't know how I feel about the series overall, there are really neat concepts and ideas but the author will randomly copy/paste real world history which is completely immersion breaking. The story goes from describing and flushing out details of a fictitious religion then makes a hard left turn into adding Catholicism into the world rather than creating another fictitious religion. The story kind of turns into an alt history earth with the addition of elves and giant eagles. I stopped reading after chapter 35 just because of the writing style (info dumps) and lack of meaningful story progression.
