The translation is decent, other than the occasional issue of gender pronouns switching. The translator places the speaker's name after they say something, which is very good, but it's *just* the name, and gives no indication of inflection, emotion, or phrasing that may be lost from the changes in language.As for the story itself... Other reviews have stated typical flaws: it reads like a journal more than a story, there is no action or adventure at this point, there is little to no magic, and it leans heavily to harem tropes.Spoiler
At chapter 45, we learn the MC actually has no male friends. His one friend is actually a girl! This means the only boy his age with a name is Dolla, a complete thug and idiot. The men are also painted as a little simple and usually very violent. So... handsome, smart, and well mannered MC surrounded by girls?
