This was enjoyable to me, the family dogblood drama was a bit overdone though. But I liked the relationship between the leads since they were honesty attracted to each other and talked. Though they refused to talk about some serious issues.Spoiler
This is another one of those novels that portray non-blood related children as inevitably evil and emotionally disposable. I didn't like Shen Li, so it's not like I felt bad for him or anything. But it was a little strange. I guess the grandfather felt really betrayed. I felt bad for Song Yi because the honest love of his grandfather was stolen from him, but at least he had his sister.
Shen Li spent so many years (26) in the Shen family and did nothing with it.
[collapse]The MC bothered me more that the ML because he often just refused to explain simple things that weren't even a privacy issue, especially when he knew it would lead to misunderstanding.But teenage sweethearts finally getting together are my jam, so this worked for me.
