This is honestly a pretty fun story (so far). The setup for this story is that the demon lord grows tired of constant war that benefits nobody so he offers his life to the hero to fuel a magic barrier that will separate all races for 2000 years and reincarnate himself after that 2000 year period. To be honest the setup is lazy and the events immediately after reincarnation are nonsensical but they're supposed to be! Most of the story is meant to be ridiculous and the serious moments are supposed to be overly edgy and chuni. One reviewer suggested the reader turn off their brain to enjoy this series, I recommend to stop taking shounen web/light novels so seriously.
