Became an Infinite Game Beauty NPC Chapter 170 Discussion

I have to agree with NightFlower1's review. The novel starts off pretty interesting but then gets bogged down by increasingly boring arcs. (I ended up stopping in the middle of the Pen Spirit arc. And I don't think it's a coincidence that a lot of the reviews here also stop around chapter 160-190...)

While some readers may find the constant descriptions of MC's beauty annoying, it's actually pretty amusing if you treat it as a running joke. (Plus, what makes this any different from the descriptions of MCs in other novels, besides the amount of descriptions?) And everyone simping after MC all the time is just... Lmao.

The best arc is definitely the Residential one. It was actually chilling and intense to read about, and was surprisingly hilarious because of all the crazy ways the "MLs" compete with each other. Too bad the other arcs are missing that tension.

It's pretty interesting to see how the MC is both OP and weak. He relies on his charm and intelligence, but sometimes that ends up being a double-edged sword that lands him into more trouble.

Not sure if this novel has an actual ML. I've seen spoilers about it, and while I'm not sure how accurate they are, I can't say I'm too happy about it. Spoiler

All the infatuated guys end up combining into one person or something? Yeesh. I would rather the MC end up with a guy who ISN'T a creep.

While there is dubcon (which never goes away) throughout the novel, I find that I can stomach it since it's offset by how pathetic the "MLs" are when it comes to the MC.

I can't say I'll come back to read more of this, but it was pretty fun at the beginning at least!
