seems like he was manipulated by an adult from a young age to hate ML and do a lot of bad things (not justifying, but I felt like this kid never had a chance). So far the author didn’t dive to deeply about this or mentioned it beyond a flashback
[collapse]But anyway, I always felt like there’s a layer of something covering many things about ML due to the way the author writingSpoilerwhen MC still remembered things, the author never revealed much about his life before transmigration and later MC just forgot. On the other hand, we do see memories of the original body, but I felt like the author is hiding key memories from us. I don’t know, I felt like there’s a big mystery behind all this
[collapse]ML is supposed to die so his nephew can open a P box that will bring a lot of chaos to the world and become a villain. Well, actually it seems more like Hamin was pushed into the villain path by the real villain (that I REALLY hate). I really feel sorry for ML and Hamin becauseSpoilerboth are cursed by ML’s older brother and can’t even fight back because the guy controls the whole guild and have the outer image of a caring sibling/uncle.
The older brother is a despicable person and seems to be the biggest villain of the novel so far. His greed is so big that he decided to kill his older brother and his wife (Hamin parents), maybe their parents (not sure) and put a curse that is killing ML and make Hamin suffers a lot. ML is supposed to be poisoned to death by him.
I have no idea about how much ML knows beyond the fact that his own older brother cursed him and Hamin because the author never dived deeply into it. What we do see is a very hopeless situation, because even though ML knows, he does nothing about - he is just an S class hunter protecting his 7 years old nephew and absolutely 0 influence inside their guild. He could try to use the older brother image against him (everyone else believes the older brother is a good guy who deeply cares about his younger brother and nephew- well, except when he is trying to showdown his power (not as a hunter).
[collapse]Anyway, I’ve got a little frustrated over how MC was treated at first, but if you think about it, makes sense. What frustrated me more is actually how people don’t talk. I mean, we, as readers, know a lot, but the characters? Seems like they don’t talk abo it things that really matter. I would be totally like “well, how I never thought about this before? Instead of pestering you I should have become your pharmacist. Look at how obedient you are drinking poison to quench your thirst.”
