The story itself has a decent initial development, the world building is actually done quite solid. One of my initial gripes is the amount of fore-shadowing, leaving nothing of suspense for the reader. Spoiler

As things progressed it becomes more evident of the lack-luster MC. Besides the massive amount of fore-shadowing to which a epilogue is basically a apart of a chapter, there seems to be less side character development to say the story is primarily on the strategism would be a understatement. The main character doesn't stand out, other then the whole over-coming the difference sent of mortality situation there isn't anything special at this stage in the story that highlights the characters personality, opinions (much less side characters) besides being drawn into a ploy by a goddess of destruction.
