I like this novel; it isn’t epic, but it’s quite good for passing the time. I’ll rate it 4 stars. The translation is also good—better than mtl. I had some trouble navigating the translation site, but I’ll let that slide since this isn’t the right place to vent about such things.

Now, I want to set expectations for future readers.

• There’s NTR at the start of this novel, which serves as a tool to develop the MC’s character. He longs for death, but others misinterpret him as courageous and a genius. The protagonist is a meme character, so if you don’t like this setup, you might want to skip it.
• The story includes a harem and even introduces a Big Sister in the latest chapter, but tags like "shounen" should temper reader's ardour. Seriously, there won’t be any "bam bam." Don’t expect anything serious to happen between MC and heroines.
• This novel is a Japanese shounen take on the Star Trek trope. To provide a more accurate comparison, it resembles "I Woke Up Piloting the Strongest Starship, so I Became a Space Mercenary."
• The MC doesn’t experience any power trips (he won’t get any stronger). You won’t find wishful thinking or wet dreams for insecure here; What I want to say is that there will be no face-slapping or other toxic elements.

This novel is a space opera with a touch of misunderstanding. If you’re still eager to read this novel after my review, that’s your choice. Just remember, if you approach it without high expectations, you might enjoy it
