This story is a bit different than most about idol life. There are many that start with the MC gaining abilities, but what sets this one apart is it's pacing, it's characters, and it's comedy. The comedy is great!

First off, as others have mentioned, the flow of time in this story is more slice-of-life. The pacing of the writing itself is good, but most of the time skips are a few months at most. (The only exception I've come across so far is in the very beginning where it jumps 2 years) Even those time skips are usually mentioned. It's something along the lines of "and then we trained, slept, trained, and trained some more".

My favorite thing about this story are the characters. Everyone is complex and realistic, and the MC and his group mates are quirky yet not quite out of the realm of believability. That quirkyness is the best part. The author creates amazing comedy just by having those characters run around. The more you read the funnier it becomes. It's not all comedy though. The author does a nice job of keeping it well balanced with serious and emotional content as well.

I also appreciate the way the MC's ability is handled. Being able to copy movements you see is fantastical, but also vaguely seems like it could possibly be done by someone. The MC uses this ability quite a bit, and in some fun ways, but it doesn't take over. Instead it's just one of the many quirks that make all the other characters think the MC's a weirdo. A very nice and charming weirdo, but strange all the same. Which is why it's so fun to read everything from the MC's point of view who is convinced that he's the normal one in the group.

All in all, it's a great story especially when you want something positive and cheerful.
