Not dropping a rating because it's chapter 71 and it really seems like nothing has happened yet. In the usual novel, I feel like this would be chapter 20... it's really a characteristic of novels that start when the protagonist is 11 or so.Actually, I'd like to read this, to the point that I searched out other avenues of accessing it, and may MTL it myself if I have to; I like this kind of 'easy reading' experience with no big drama, and no real threats to the MC. I'm not too troubled by the naivety of the MC since even if her soul is an adult, I feel like her naivety is characteristic of the body she's in.Weirdly enough, I'm not even too fussed with the ML kissing on the MC despite their age gap. The ML is just too weird? Kind of innocent? He incidentally gets called out for being a 'beast' since he seems to have magically married her on their second meeting without her knowledge, but mostly comes across as socially inept rather than predatory. He lacks the aggressive, unreasonable selfish/possessive behavior of most MLs, or at least he performs in the least threatening way possible, and knows to make a good impression on the MC rather than taking for granted that his 'foresight' ability which showed them married will unfailingly come true no matter how s*upid he acts. Which isn't to say that this is a pure uwu unproblematic dynamic, just that Xue Yihan is a lot more palatable to someone really tired of the presumptive, forceful, "I can suppress the FL so naturally she's mine" behavior you see in a lot of these novels. Uhh, think of him as more like an elementary school kid who licks his first friend because if he licks it, its his, haha.So basically, I like the novel, except that pretty much nothing has really happened by ch71 (we're still in the "ML peacocking for the FL" stage, which I'm accustomed to ending by chapter 20-40, depending on how quickly the ML appears, and the "ML negotiating boundary lines" arc starting). It really feels like we're still in the first five chapters. So I can't really give a rating to just this little bit of story. edit for MTL chapter 80, Officially canceling the ML's good guy card: he invited her to his place, dressed her in clothes that bend space/time so she ''grows up.'' If that's not enough, he also snuck into her bed to sleep with her (apparently JUST sleeping, but she's ELEVEN), her being unaware. I don't even want to think about what damages this behavior would do to an actual child, and the FL really does act like an eleven year old, and thinks like an eleven year old, to the point her transmigration is basically just an excuse for her good surgery skills, so we've suddenly veered into utter Creep territory. I can tolerate a certain amount of 'g*ooming/raising' in these settings, but you can't age an eleven year old up into a 16/18 year old (it isn't specified how old she was in his foresight vision) to satisfy yourself?? and then eat tofu and get turned on??? If a wife is to be raised, you have to actually RAISE first!!! If the author was impatient for her to grow up, then the MC should have transmigrated into an older body!!!!
