A better summary is: Can't find best girl? Fine! I'll do it myself! Because sometimes, it takes a real man to become best girl.Jokes aside, the story is cute, but more importantly really fun. Logic is thrown out the window and theres lot of hand waving but I genuinely had a really fun time reading this one. It honestly caught me by surprise since I didn't have any expectations from it as well. MC and ML are equally hilarious, MC in that he absolutely refuses to drop his script and he'll hold onto his "female" and "male" personas in a death grip even when ML knows the truth. ML on the other hand is so head-over heels for his "girl" from the start that it's really sweet. He has zero ambiguity or hesitation, he wants Yanyan no matter what gender or form and will defend MC every single slight imaginable. The plot does have some lacking in logic, from the antagonists or the main characters, everyone has their moments. This didn't bother me, but I think thats more hinging on how much you can let slide. To be frank I think the big reveal of MC's transmigration was honestly quite confusing. From what I could gather:Spoiler
I think MC and ML are from two different parallel worlds? Same world, except one has Ruan Yan (MC) and one does not. It's not until RY reads a book to a fading god that she crosses their lives together. It also explains why ML is so head over heels for Ruan Yan, because the god had wished for MC to have a perfect love; so essential they have an 100% compatibility rating and she made the match for them.
[collapse]Overall, it was a fun read that while might not be life changing, it was cute and I had a good time.
