The Beauty Regrets After Running Away with the Baby Chapter Completed Discussion

Super humorous story! Loved it! MTL destroyed my brains a little and did not understand some parts of the story but its still readable.

MC works hard in order to retire early. Why: Spoiler

Its because he missed out on witnessing his mum's last moments cause he was too busy working. Since then he developed the mindset of: why bother working so hard and missing out on family? Why bother working so hard???

[collapse] MC has a salted fish attribute. He doesn't want to work hard and wants to spend his days doing whatever he likes - fishing for the chill vibe, relaxing, doing nothing.

Unfortunately a one night stand with the ML changes all that. ML is initially a domineering CEO stereotype duh. Ends up sleeping with the MC. He thought MC did it for the resources/fame. ML then gives MC film opportunities etc that MC could not refuse due to his company's demands. MC however finds it tiresome.

The great thing about this novel is the fact that MC and ML's romance started even before the MC runs away with the cub. Their relationship progresses from a one night stand to something extra. Spoiler

ML even wanted to make MC a top priority in his life, he had thoughts of a forever with MC. Wanted to show him off to his parents too.

[collapse] I like how the ML strips off his cold persona and doted on the MC even before he knew of the pregnancy.

Despite his efforts however, MC is still calm and standoffish. He just has a lot of walls and doesn't want to be vulnerable. He just doesn't think much of ML's efforts as its too tiresome. That's one of the key conflicts between them. ML is a Type A personality guy who cannot fathom why MC is such a salted fish. After MC runs away, the ML is so heartbroken but he thought he'd give MC a chance to be free before he chases after MC. Lol.

Their kid is adorable but the story is illogical since the child for a one and a half year old kid is TOO SMART. He would be a genius if he could talk that well, play that well at that age tbh. The kid is just a mischievous naughty toddler. Would've worked better if the kid was older. Anyway later half of the story is so funny due to moments with the kid. ML desperately chases after MC with various methods. He really loves the MC and there's no more cold CEO stereotype.

MC changes his mindset too and opens his heart to ML which I love.
