Interesting and recommended. The story is still in the first stages but the world feels complex and one can see all the death flags surrounding our male lead are difficult to solve, not something that can be easily solved by simply not acting insanely, so there is real tension to the story.

Translation quality is decent.

The essence of the story is the MC is dropped in as a very loyal servant of the erratic and highly unpopular queen who survives in her position only due to her physical/magical strength and whose only support comes from her similarly powerful and equally erratic female general cousin with whom she has a love hate relationship. Almost all nobles of power around them carefully plot to topple the queen, but are afraid to do it directly and the political and economical state of the country continues to deteriorate.

The MC finds himself needing to manipulate the political scene to survive while also stabilizing the state all whilst being lovingly ab*sed and pulled on both sides like a favorite plushy by the queen and the general, always afraid they will pull too hard and tear him apart or lose interest and destroy him out of boredom. The MC is intelligent and likable. The villainesses seem quite well written as they are at once real villains, but also not entirely unsympathetic with some backstory that explains their behavior. Admittedly, this mostly works because they are also beautiful women.
