Okay...I have read to ch 1000 and have to say that I never expected to find such a lovely, high quality novel here. This story reminds me of Our Second Master, and anyone who has read that will know that's high praise. Seriously, the interactions between this scarred, so called "ugly" girl and this crippled, deposed prince warmed my cold heart. So many times I swear my eyes got teary but not bc it was sad--just SO DAMN WHOLESOME. They both lived such hard lives, it was so fulfilling to see them finally find peace together.Really a sweet story about healing and love and finding the simple happiness in life. Things get complicated with politics later on as they always do, but the simple moments is what made the story for me. Solid novel, great character development, healthy believable romance.... it was a breath of fresh air honestly.The MTL is pretty easy to understand, I would recommend giving it a go. You won't regret it.
