’80s Sweet Marriage: Struggle for a Good Life Chapter 109 Discussion

I'm convinced this was written by a 12 year old. There was no logic used in creating this story. Some of it was okay. I liked all the characters in this story except the FL and of course the antagonists. The ML, her brother, and grandma were absolute gems except for the ML's smoking. Does he have to smoke every. Single. Time. He. Shows. Up. In. The. Story? We all know that military officers shouldn't smoke because the smell of tobacco on their clothes would give their location away if they wwere trying to hide from the enemy. Also their mother was loving most of the time but she treated the FL like she was a s*upid child spouting nonsense each time the FL was trying to guide her. The mother also did a lot of dumb ass sh*t because she was suckered by people that took advantage of her.

The FL is so disgustingly immature even though she's supposedly close to 50 when she is reborn. (Not sure since the translator used a few different numbers for her age which created confusion for me.) She is weak AF having NO SKILL and NO TALENT except for throwing things and trying to tell people off and she was way too innocent in their relationship interactions. The face slapping in the beginning was not satisfying. Spoiler

The second aunt and uncle have been taking half of the FL's dad's money even though he was pretty much dying all in the name of taking care of their grandmother. She brought the GM back on a cart to the FL's house pretty much half dead. She then proceeded to announce that the FL's family was not fillial since they haven't been physically taking care of the FL's grandma. All the FL did to counter attack was bring up the money they paid in front of the crowd and then accepted the responsibility of taking care of the grandma. The skank couple had also been taking all of the grandmother's retirement income but didn't take good care of her, but the FL didn't once talk about getting any of that money back. Later on they even pay back $500 they borrowed from that shameless couple to buy medicine to save the dad even though that pair stole their money and the grandmother's money.

The author made her into an absolute moron in front of the ML all in the name of staying away from him.Spoiler

The author really could have done so much better by having the FL act friendly towards the ML instead of trying to run every time she sees him. Also on many occasions she is a f*cking narcissist thinking that the ML was falling in love with her when he's only seen her a couple of times. It's pretty hilarious that she gets a few slaps in the face when she mistakenly thinks that he's following her or waiting for her. Reading about their relationship is so much better when the author finally has her "go with the flow" and follow what the ML wants. She still acts like a moron, blushing OVER EVERY LITTLE THING. Between the 2 lives she's supposedly almost 50 years old and there are hints that she was tricked into marrying an abusive man. Her blushing all the time is just s*upid ang annoying unless you are a 10 year old reading this.

I will write more if I can stand reading it a bit longer. I'm hanging on the edge by my fingernails because I want to see the female antagonists bad ending.
