Great story. MC feels uncomfortable in his new home and makes excuses to be outside, by chance befriending another student who he's able to share his woes with. There is no villain, as everyone is just trying to live with their flaws and their guilt.

I have to wonder how reviewer GreenRiver thinks 'realistic' parents would act. They are quite believable in this story. GreenRiver seems to give 5 star reviews to isekai and harem manga, so perhaps they think 'realistic' parents go "ara ara" and hand out cond*ms when their child brings home a friend?
