First volume is passable, with the initial dozen chapters or so being quite enjoyable. The two lead characters are written well, along with the surrounding cast, at least initially and to an extent. As mentioned by others, the resolution to the first volume is indeed weak, but it's acceptable and not bad by any means. It's second volume I have particular issue with. The continuing conflict in regard to the FL and her mother and how it's handled, along with the introduction of her yandere (?) sister. Not a fan of either as things take an unrealistic turn, especially in the way characters start to act and express themselves. Like, I know this is fiction, but there's a limit to everything. Then delving into the budding romance of the MC and the FL. Not written all that well, at least to me. Their relationship also comes off as childish/immature in the way they approach their feelings. In all, decent read to pass time, but otherwise you aren't missing out on anything as it isn't particularly good either.
