Without (much) spoiling, it's a modern day cultivationYuri novel with some unique takes on powers etc. Sprinkle some mystery and action on top.

MC:

She's cool, a pretty kind girl all things considered with a inhuman twist.

FL romance:

She's basically someone with nothing to live for and just goes through the motions (until she meets the MC). She's not suicidal or depressed or anything. She's pretty adaptable and has enough wisdom and intelligence for the romance not to feel frustrating. She could have gotten more screentime, however she's by no means unimportant and the story hints at her key role in the MC's life.

Side Characters:

They're good, I like the girl from the memory wipe incident. There's more to that one than first revealed and I'm really curious where her story goes.

I love how the MC is cast as this super talented monstrous girl while the FL is downplayed most of the novel, then during the last part of the novel it turns out the FL is the representative or the embodiment of the will of the world and is in a sense far stronger than the MC.
