I'm writing this review, half in part due to this novel, but half because it connects to the trend in novelupdates as a whole.Like most novels that are being translated right now, its an obvious MTL, in all fairness, its one of the better ones, at least some effort was put into it, but there are constant telltale signs of MTL multiple times a chapter. And for me it's really starting to take the joy out of reading. I mean translators, at least find someone who will go through your MTL slop and make it actually read normally. 90% of the mistakes can be solved by 1 semi competent proofreader. There are places where text is repeated (something AI's do sometimes), sometimes it doesnt understand who is speaking so it f*cks up the genders etc. Everything that can be fixed by someone paying attention.The story itself, while not bad is kind of bland, it doesn't really incite me to read more, which in combination with the MTL is gonna make me drop it. If you don't mind the MTL stuff its a decent enough isekai story, though with a lot of unimportant fluff happening between anything important.
