It is good for a light read, definitely fluffy and has great mutual affection between the leads. Huo Shen respected Li Yining, protected her from being criticized due to their nature of relationship, and gave her the love they both deserve. I don't know what disappointed me. Is it the fact that I had not seen a single shadow of the blurb even though I'm already past chapter 106 or is it that Li Yining can just guess the heck out of all those variety shows without even showing any concrete process?

I'll admit that entertainment trope is my favorite and secret relationship between the two really piques my interest; however, as what I had said above, it really dampened my spirits.

Sigh.

Anyway, to answer some of Ecirteab's points:

(1) They hate Li Yining because she was an 18-tier artist that kept on clinging to Jiang Yuan (promising male upstart) and pushing away other actresses i.e. That white lotus gal (promising female upstart) I forgot the name because she's hardly there. It was also because the OG was urged by that other 18-tier "friend" who kept on putting oil to the fire and kept giving OG ideas to suppress other artists. Basically, since OG kept her real identity as a rich woman, they didn't know that she was one of the top supporters of Jiang Yuan (I think she was the one who practically advertised him to the exposure tbh) and she kept the holier-than-thou attitude.

(2) Huo Shen is the somewhat movie emperor there. Li Yining going near him can be said to be for "hype" since netizens don't know the relation between the couple.

(3) The Li Yining transmigrator didn't care she's in a novel because she's rich. It was emphasized that the only thing that made her even tolerate Huo Shen from the start is because she doesn't want to reach the same ending as the OG which is going bankrupt. Her main priority initially was earning money. Don't ask me why she just didn't ask her parents who's affluent too.

(4) Yep, too many filler characters who do not give a big impact to the flow of the story. And the usual "you're not who I thought you were, I'm interested in you now" is on mark. Lmao, the reason why Li Yining is being vilified (at least in the eyes of Huo Shen) is because she's close to cheating. The only thing missing is her giving a big diamond ring to Jiang Yuan while holding a shiny LED sign "Will you marry me?". She's using Huo Shen's money to support her other. :≫ Yeah, not gonna refute the fact that their marriage has already gone the drain by that time though. The OG was really devoted to Huo Shen before being so disappointed by the lack of care or attention of the latter. Ahhh, before I forgot. The white lotus and that Jiang Yuan were public couples by that time.
