The storytelling of this author is not really my cup of tea. The author tends to create a setup as a plot device and then never mentions it again after it has no use. In the beginning of the story, the MC was enrolled in a cram school by her biological parents and the purpose was to create a conflict and to introduce one of the main characters in the story. After the conflict is settled, I never saw it mentioned ever again. What happened? Did she drop out of it or is she still enrolled in it while also doing her part-time job. That's only one example but you get the gist of it.
