I'm a sucker for morally upright and smart MC (plus 1 star).This story takes a regular cliche trope and makes it enjoyable to read with a laid back flow (plus 1 star).Unlike other novels that have unrealistic background stories and events, the author decided to make the villains and heroes have very real human thoughts and emotions. This is very difficult to do (plus 2 stars).The Last star is for good old trope of helping those in need and destroying evil while still being able to keep the mystery plot of the story to keep us guessing and waiting for the next chapter.
