I saw some people saying something about the MC "losing" its essence during the chapters, I almost didn't read the work because I particularly can't stand the style of protagonist who hears everything in silence and needs a hero to save him. But I decided to give it a chance. So guys, I'm sorry. I think there was some mistake on your part or we didn't read the same work. The MC >AT ALL< moment defends against attacks against him by his own will. All ML does is provide emotional support, express concern, and help with small things (like deleting tedious posts or firing an incoherent presenter, who even publicly harassed the MC). A proof of this is in the scene where the villain attacks the MC inside the bathroom. I believed that it would be the ML who would appear and save the MC, as is naturally foreseen in novels like this. But, going against what people here are saying, the MC is the one who defends himself and even counterattacks. The ML only appears when the villain is down and crawling on the ground. So no, the MC doesn't get weaker or depend on the ML for absolutely NOTHING.
I agree with the points about lacking some coherence about specific parts. Like how easy it was for the villain to find the MC in that world (Apparently he noticed by the smell and mannerisms, he was obsessed so he can make sense. But it's still a little incoherent). The switch from alpha to omega, which I would particularly prefer it to still be alpha, but it's something that can only be overlooked. The excess of information about the movies the MC was making, which I skipped most of them, didn't affect my experience at all. And the fan comments, which are kind of exaggerated, are so many that I couldn't sympathize or laugh with any of them.
[collapse]In my opinion, it's a well-constructed novel. The MC is strong, smart, talented and charismatic. ML is not human tr*sh, treats MC like he's a prince on a pedestal. ML doesn't force anything on the MC, he always respects his wishes, he's attentive and there isn't any trace of ab*se as in many works and many here pretend not to see it. It's a HEALTHY couple, well built and slowly developing from their interactions. Another high point is how they don't treat any omega that comes close to the ML like a b*tch, as happens in so many BL. The former protagonist of the novel himself is cute and becomes friends with the MC later on. There are no unnecessary fights, just occasional scenes of jealousy on the part of ML that are cute, and not something like forcing the MC not to talk to anyone because of his wishes. It's not perfect, it has flaws, but it's not a bad workmanship as many are exaggerating here. It's good to pass the time and be able to root for a well-built couple. Thanks for reading.
