I’m In Charge of SCP Chapter v1274 Discussion

Novels pretty good if you ask me I suggest reading as long as you're okay with the protagonists constant tr*sh talk and shamelessness. It helps in the end that he's usually extremely funny imo. For anyone feeling iffy; behind this mask of being a nuisance and awful person is a very observant and intelligent individual that makes it easier to look past this so-called annoying persona and instead focus on his foresight and overall prowess. Also he isn't as misogynistic and as awful as others say he is trust me as I woman living in today's time he is much more tolerable then other men on this planet also this "misogynistic" attitude that ppl say he has applies to everyone he treats everyone as if they are "below" him and he's the strongest (he's very headstrong tho I believe it comes off as funny in most situations/simply a tactic to divert the opposing forces attention) women, men, child, elder, or scp. If you look at his interactions between the doctor and him he literally displays his admiration for her ability and fearlessness; a mindset that she EARNED in his opinion (and wasnt given to her before simply bc she was a woman/her gender and others never mattered). Also she is one of the few people he even shows admiration/genuine care for I would say it's not romantic but I can't really tell. I'm leaning toward more"no" since he directly tells her father he doesn't want to join their family and whenever a "moment" happens he's quick to show no care toward romance like literally ever. Some say he's dragging it on but in actuality I can't remember a time he legitimately showed any type of romantic interest in her. Sure you can say some of the "looks" (which can also just be him observing as the author repeatedly puts he has great observational skills he kinda has to y'know look at people to observe them especially people that are constantly around him like the doctor) could be romantic but honestly he seems to view her as only a close friend or sister almost so shipping them seems to do nothing but set expectations that simply will not be met-- at least at the current times (the early romance tag is very misleading considering I'm almost 300 chapters in an the romance is not very prominent at all) I can completely understand this (Zhang's) mindset bc Zhang is currently constantly in so much sh*t he doesn't have time for love that'll do nothing but give him a weakness (before you say well if they're friends/siblings it's a weakness still--not many know about their relationship at all other then the fact they work in the same buildingSpoiler

he even at sort is lead to believe from untampered video proof that she tried killing him so can why can't everyone focus more on that instead of the romance she could possibly be either a mind controlled human or enemy in disguise but ppl are focusing on the unimportant romantic matters)
