Not sure how people genuinely give 5 stars to this. The writing is very dull, and there is zero emotion everywhere. The worst part of the story though for me, is that many of the names and settings are like something a kid who never grew up would've written. Like what even is the world name Maple World, dungeons Maple Gates, MC El Pam, monster Orange Mushroom. It's almost like some random Nintendo rpg fanfic.Someone even contacted me through NU forums after posting this review, that this is in fact essentially a fan fic. This novel is apparently based off a video game called Maple Story who the messager claims that the game (made 2003) was as ground breaking as Runescape was 20 years ago, and a lot of people that grew up with this game have deep memories with it. This directly explains and makes sense on why all these names were so out of place now. So unless you know of Maple Story, I can not recommend this novel to you as even though you don't need to know to read this, as the sense of realism and immersiveness was just cracking and breaking apart everywhere. The writing quality couldn't save it due to dullness and no emotions. (This paragraph was edited in) I tried reading deeper despite my dislike, but all the writing so far has been so basic. Perhaps it is the translation, but there is just a stark lack of details and depth to everything. It is like it's written by ChatGPT
